Images can be displayed in many effective ways. Below are just a few sample galleries I’ve made up for demonstration purposes.
The first of the galleries displayed is a simple click gallery built with CSS. The larger image on the right is displayed when clicking the smaller thumbnail version on the left. This gallery is particularly nice for slower connections.
Pop up an image without affecting a page’s layout. It’s triggered by the mouse hover. One nice fact with the Hoverbox is that it works even with JavaScript disabled.
The very popular Lightbox gallery is a simple, unobtrusive script used to overlay images on the current page. It works on all modern browsers.
This is a slide show that I made up for fun while researching my Family’s Geneology using some old pictures dug up to help me along the way.
